A growing number of consumers and businesses are turning to cloud services, which
offer on-demand, pay-as-you-go software, developer platforms, and storage capabilities
— delivered over the Internet.
Sysfore is registered as a Microsoft Cloud Partner and helps clients to build, develop
and deploy cloud solutions based on the Microsoft Azure platform.
At Sysfore, we provide customers with cloud consulting services, cloud application
development, and cloud application migration services on the Microsoft Azure Platform.
We provide customers the ability to create, wrap, integrate and deploy any application
to a shared, on-demand, or private cloud computing data center.

Sysfore assesses existing applications for migration to the cloud by making use
of proof-of-concepts before moving into production. We provide end-to-end solutions
for migration, covering areas such as architecture, design, build, test, migration
and deployment onto the cloud.
Windows Azure Platform Benefits
The
Windows Azure platform
is a flexible cloud–computing platform that lets you pay only for what you
use, scale up when you need capacity and pull it back when you don’t. The
cloud service provider handles all the patches and maintenance — all in a
secure environment with over 99.9% uptime. This way you don’t need to invest
large sums in setting up your infrastructure and you can free up the capital for
more meaningful purposes.
Windows Azure Platform serves as an end-to-end development and deployment platform
for building cloud services. But moving your on premise applications to Windows
Azure isn’t a simple decision. Ideally, one would like to move an application
that provides maximum ROI and poses minimum risks. Risks could be ensuring business
continuity, data security, technology investments, etc.
An ideal strategy would be assessing the growth profile of your application. With that
assessment you will need to understand the amount of effort involved in migrating
your web application to Windows Azure. Depending on the current architecture of
your web application this could be a serious undertaking. Several components like
web sessions, diagnostics, relational DB, distributed cache, COM components, operational
integration, third party software's, security, etc. would need a migration plan,
feasibility check and corresponding approvals on budgeted estimates. Security is
also an important consideration. While migrating to cloud security normally needs
to be applied at 2 levels – data at rest (disk) and data in motion (wire).
Security implementation can be done using encryption and related techniques. Windows
Azure platform also consists of AppFabric that can allow you to take your on-premise
identity investments to the cloud using Access Control Service. In case there is
some sensitive data that can be stored only on your premises you can use AppFabric’s
Service Bus to tunnel back from Cloud.
